Signing up

The five steps for a new dog.

Stages 3 & 4 above broken down. This is the bit you'd do this week — takes about a week end to end.

  1. 1
    Step 1 · You

    Send a reservation request.

Hit the Book A Walk button and answer a few questions about your dog, when you'd like Steve to walk, and what kind of walks suit you. Takes about three minutes. Nothing's confirmed yet — it's just a request.

    Start a request
  2. 2
    Step 2 · Steve

    Steve reviews your request personally.

No queue, no bots, no auto-replies. Steve reads the request himself — usually the same day. He's looking at your dog's needs, where you are, and whether he can do justice to the slots you've asked for. If he can't, he'll say so.

  3. 3
    Step 3 · A phone call

    Steve gives you a ring.

A proper conversation, usually fifteen minutes. About your dog, your routine, any worries, and what you actually want from a walker. It's also when Steve will say honestly whether he's the right walker for your dog.

  4. 4
    Step 4 · Meet & greet

    Steve comes round.

Free, no commitment. Steve meets you and your dog at home, the way the first walk will happen. He'll learn the lead, the harness, the door, the routine. Your dog meets him on home ground first — which makes the first walk much easier.

  5. 5
    Step 5 · Walks begin

Regular walks at the times that suit your week.

Most clients settle into a weekly pattern — same days, same times. Your slot is yours until you say otherwise. Steve sends a photo after every walk, and invoices once a month by bank transfer.

What to expect

How long does the whole thing take?

From submitting your request to your dog's first walk is usually around a week — but it depends on how busy Steve's diary is and how quickly you can be in.
